Digital Footprints Lab to host an interdisciplinary networking workshop!

We are thrilled to announce that Alisha has secured a £500 funding award from the Population Health Science Institute to host an interdisciplinary networking workshop.

This workshop, hosted by the Digital Footprints Lab at the University of Bristol, will bring together experts from epidemiology, medicine, psychology, and social policy to foster cross-faculty exchange. The event will encourage collaboration in developing research questions on dietary risk factors for cancer and associated health inequalities, laying a foundation for future grant applications.

A key focus will be exploring the potential of digital footprint data, such as supermarket loyalty card data, for longitudinal studies linking dietary behaviours to cancer outcomes. The workshop will also address methodological challenges in utilising such data.

Through this event, we aim to drive interdisciplinary collaborations to advance our understanding of the connections between diet, cancer risks, and health inequalities. Stay tuned for updates!
