On September 2nd, Anya joined the Smart Data Research UK panel session “Let’s do good things with data” at the Royal Statistical Society International Conference 2025.
Chaired by Gordon Baggott, Chief Data Scientist at Smart Data Foundry, the panel featured four SDR UK accelerator project leads:

To an audience of 25 attendees, Anya shared insights from her accelerator project, emphasising the importance of designing data-driven research that puts people at the centre and delivers tangible social benefits. Alongside the other panellists, she explored how researchers can balance innovation with responsibility.
